New Web 2.0 Tool!

Check out the Animoto I made of my 2015 summer adventure!

What an amazing tool!

Now, I'm fortunate in that I was to receive a free educators account! Thanks Animoto for believing in me! Sadly, if you were to make one as a student/reader the free account slaps a watermark right over your work.

The process for making this video are VERY straight forward, just drag photos, add captions,  and pick a song!

The only bummer besides the watermark on free accounts, is that while I love the visual effects, some of the photos totally get washed out by the applied filters. I mean who doesn't love a little Sepia filter, but I don't think many people love their photos of an alpine lake being washed in a blood red filter.

Hey Mikey D! What a great tool you used for your adventure. I used it myself for our Coast Rica trip, check it out! You did a little more due diligence though by adding text to your photos. I however did not :(. You have certainly inspired me too though for my next Animoto; it really adds a nice story to it. I am glad your adventure was grand. Hopefully we can do a Danny do and Mikey D adventure in the near future, like the olden days!

Mikey D! I like to hear that this platform is easy to use because from your video it looks like an awesome tool!

I loved using Animoto as well! I found it super easy and the end results were amazing! Your video is just AWESOME! It was great to see your whole adventure captured in just a few minutes! I agree with the video effects though! It did that to my Animoto video as well! Oh WELL! Still looks great!

I am a teacher for the next 30 years (unless beanie babies get valuable again...) but  forever a student and my blog reflects this.
