7th graders: Since we wont be cutting wood today, I thought you could kick back and watch a movie! This documentary is about how plastic (which is one of the most popular materials in food, industry, transportation and pretty much every facet of our lives) is both a great thing (hurray waterproof packaging! hurray easy to manipulate strong building materials! hurray life saving medical supplies!) but at the same time, very damaging to our environment.
As someone who has spent a lot of time in the water (Did you know? I have kayaked all the way from Canada during a summer?) this movie has had a huge impact on how I live my life and why I recycle!
