Welcome to my place in cyberspace!
Before we get to brass tacks, I just wanted to take a moment and introduce myself. My name is Mike Demchak and I was born and raised on the coast of Connecticut in Milford. I was born into a nuclear family, with a white picket fence to match. In this setting, I became the person I am today. Someone who is loyal, passionate, engaged, inquisitive and creative.
I'm very active in various parts of my community through volunteering. Both formally and informally. I've been lucky enough to be given a healthy body and frequently participate in local charity bicycle rides and runs. I also spend a few days a year cleaning up the local environment that I love.
I enjoy living an adventurous lifestyle; having hiked the Appalachian Trail, kayaked the Connecticut River and the entire coast of Maine (twice!), completed a 2000 mile bicycle tour from CT-WI and a 500 mile mountain bike tour of Colorado. I've spent time rock climbing in Colorado and Kentucky, being a ski and rock climbing instructor
I'm always ready for my next adventure however, and this time I've got my sights on my biggest challenge yet. To become the best Technology Education teacher I can be.
